The Adventure Time 'Dude It Yourself Journal' Is definitely an mathematical book to buy. It's hard back, and it has a lot of Adventure Time activities to keep you going until Christmas! The pages of the books are hooking, and interesting to look at.

I would definitely recommend this book to other Adventure Time Fans! This Doodle book is probably suitable for 7+.

Also this Doodle Book is a fairly reasonable price, £5.13. But postage is 2 pounds extra. If you are thinking of getting this Doodle Book, its on sale at Amazon and probably other stores as well.

How To Draw Finn From Adventure Time!

Start off with a simple long rectangle, at the top of the page. This will be the base for Finn's head and body.

Next, draw a line roughly in the middle of the rectangle. divide it into four squares one horizontal and one vertical. This will be the construction guides for Finn's features later on.

Draw his arms as two curved lines on the sides of the rectangle that come out of the ends of the lowest horizontal line. Finn's legs are two vertical lines at the bottom of the main rectangle.

On the ends of each guide for Finn's arms, draw small circles. Draw four lines on each circle, this will be the guide for Finn's hands and fingers. At the end of each leg lines draw some ovals. These will be Finn's Feet.

You now have finished the basic Finn shape. From this point on, press harder with your pencil.

Start by drawing in Finn's awesome hat. Using the top square as a guide, draw the lines so they curve more and round out the bottom corners. Add two small curves on the top corners that look like little upside-down U shapes.

Draw an oval in the middle of his head. Add two small dots, using your horizontal lines for guide.

To draw Finn's mouth, draw a shape that looks rather like a kidney bean, or like an oval with a dip at the top. Add four little half ovals inside Finn's mouth, for teeth. Also add a tongue.

Tighten Finn's torso by darkening the lines and drawing the legs of his skinny shorts. Above the legs, draw a horizontal line to indicate where his shirt meets his shorts.

For the straps of Finn's backpack, draw two curved lines at the sides of his body where his arms begin. To draw Finn's arms and hands, make the arm and hand guide lines thicker. His arms are curvy, so don't draw sharp angles for his elbows. They should look like noodles.

Darken in Finn's legs by thickening the initial guidelines. At the bottom of his legs, draw a thick curved line for his socks. Below the socks, use the ovals as guides and draw his shoes.

You now have drawn a rough Finn. You can keep it like this for a rough, sketchy look. Or carry on for a more neater, finished look.

Carefully draw over the final sketch lines with a pen or marker. Leave it to dry, then rub out all the other pencil marks with a rubber. You now have a inked Finn! You can stop here or carry on.

You can now colour it in! Use what ever you want, pencils, crayons, pens... Its all your choice! Colour Finn's shoes in black, his shorts a dark blue, and his top a light blue. Colour in his back pack green. His skin is a sort of peachy colour.
